Before it was a company, it was a last name.
Long before Sergio Guardiola signed a contract of his own, he was working alongside his father, carrying tools, watching projects come together, and learning the value of showing up, paying attention to the details, and taking pride in a job done well.
Guards Construction and Remodeling grew from those lessons. Sergio built the company to bring that same level of care to additions, renovations, and commercial buildouts throughout the Houston area.
The name Guards is not just a slogan. It comes from Guardiola, Sergio's family name, and represents the values his father passed down to him.
Today, Sergio remains closely involved on the job site, while his wife works alongside him to guide clients through consultations, material selections, and the decisions that come with each project. Together, they work to make the process clear, personal, and easier to navigate.
